I bought this for my wife to help with Christmas cookies. We probably did not need this powerful of a unit....and it is powerful....but I figured that if I am spending the money why noy go big? This beast makes quick work of mixing and we have found it being much more useful than I intended. It is a high quality item...very heavy and actually looks great on the counter to. We had always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer and we are very happy we purchased this one!
